Romney swarmed by Jersey wedding party

Romney swarmed by Jersey wedding party 8 hours ago politicalmugshotCNN Political Unit (CNN) - Mitt Romney's motorcade got a warm welcome Wednesday from a Jewish wedding party in New Jersey.

As the presumptive GOP nominee pulled up to the site of his fund-raising event in the town of Lake Terrace, a family posing outside for photos abandoned the bride and groom and darted for Romney's car in the parking lot, cameras in hand.

Romney's SUV pulled around a corner to a back entrance, with at least 10 members of the wedding party following the car. According to pool reports, several were halted by a wood fence, which one man tried to scale.

Intervening, Secret Service agents also stopped the chasing wedding party.

"Oh you're Secret Service," one woman said, as she was asked by an agent to move back. "We just want to see Romney."

The campaign told reporters that Romney would take a photo with the bride and groom while at the site.
