On the Trail: August 3, 2012

14 hours ago CNN Political Unit (CNN) - Both candidates are on the trail Friday following the release of July's jobs report. After a campaign event in Las Vegas, presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney will attend several private fund-raisers in Reno. In the evening Romney will head to Sun Valley, Idaho to attend a finance reception.

Meanwhile, President Obama will deliver remarks in Washington, D.C. urging congress to "act to ensure that taxes don't go up on 98 percent of Americans at the beginning of next year," according to the White House. First lady Michelle Obama will attend several fund-raising events in Massachusetts while Vice President Joe Biden travels to Los Angeles for a campaign event Friday evening.
